Hatching Eggs

Shipping on eggs is $25 per dozen. If you purchase more than one dozen, each dozen will have to ship in its own box! You will be shipped eggs from the same coops that I hatch from for myself. I package the eggs so that they will arrive safely, however I CANNOT guarantee your hatch rate(there are several factors that can affect your hatch rate). Shipping can be rough on eggs, I always recommend letting the eggs rest small end down for 24 hrs after arrival before placing in your incubator. **THERE IS NO GUARANTEE ON HATCHING EGGS!!** I DO NOT send replacement eggs (if broken during shipping, they are covered with insurance through USPS!)

One of the things that I have learned from shipping and purchasing hatching eggs is that it is a gamble every time!! I have had 80% hatch rate from eggs that I have purchased and I have had ZERO hatch from eggs that I have purchased and everything in between!! I just want everyone to know and understand that I have absolutely no control over the eggs once they leave my hands! The way I package my eggs, I guarantee that they will arrive in one piece. If the eggs arrive intact, that says to me that I have fulfilled my duty to my customers. I have no control over weather the eggs get x rayed, dropped, shaken, exposed to extreme temperatures or what have you along the way. Many of these hazards will deem the eggs unhatchable. The incubation process, which we all know, can go wrong even when we think we have done everything right. I can't be there to monitor the incubation through the 21 day period.

I send eggs that I am reasonably sure are fertile(I do not ship them unless I’m getting 90% or more hatch rate myself) and I package them well, there is nothing more I can do to insure a hatch except to offer my assistance via messenger/email/phone all the way through and I am happy to do so!! I always recommend that you allow the eggs to rest (small end down) for 24 hours before setting them.

Please do not purchase hatching eggs unless you are willing to risk these factors. And please don’t base your reviews of my hatchery on your hatch rates. If you are not willing to “gamble” on hatching eggs, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you purchase chicks instead.
